Fuel Oil, mainly includes liquid fuel that is used for burning in Furnace, Boiler, Direct Heaters and in heavy RPM engines such as big marine engines to generate power and heat. Fuel oil referred here is the oil which is heavier than commercial fuels derived from crude oil; it is heavier than motor engine fuels and, have much higher flash point to burn in a heated environment with higher gross CV.

Fuel Oil used for heating mostly have higher viscosity then motor fuels; it requires pre-heating before use and cannot be used in motor vehicles as pre-heating equipment’s take space and have heavy weight.
